*Clears her throat to sing*
“Happy Birthday to me… Happy Birthday to me.. Happy Birthday dear Lori…Happy Birthday to me!!!” Okay it’s not really my birthday but it kinda is. See twice a year All-Clad has what’s called their ‘Factory Sale’. This is all their stuff that they either have too much of, has been discontinued or deemed irregular. They come fully back with All-Clad’s warranty. Now the whole ‘irregular’ may cause concern but trust me, there is NO CONCERN! There may be a blemish – small scratch, logo off center, something that causes it for the big department stores to not want to sell it. In no way shape or form does it lack in quality or performance.
Each year this sale occurs in December and May/June. To me I tell everyone All-Clad has this sale at Christmas for me (and only me) to help Santa with getting me presents (hint to Mr.Fantabulous). And the May/June sale All-Clad has the sale again to help celebrate my birthday (May 21st). They do this for all of you wonderful folks to help in buying ME presents. See… they are just so truly thoughtful! What? No? They don’t do it because of me? Shhh… you believe what YOU want and *I’ll* believe what *I* want! haha
By now from on here, here, here, here, here and here, plus Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest you all know I have a deep love for All-Clad. More importantly I have respect for them and their superior product.
♥When: Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th, 2014

♥Things to know:
ο They accept cash and credit card (at least they did the last 15 times I’ve gone).
ο Bring a friend and a bag to carry all of your stuff!
ο There is no better day to go though if there is something you really want, it’s best to go on Friday morning as items sell out fast.
ο The past few times people started lining up pretty early (like 6am) but I go later in the afternoon and there is always a boat load of product left.
ο What is so awesome about this sale is that through out the entire 2-day sale, the wonderful folks of All-Clad keep replenishing the products.
ο If you buy more than your vehicle can fit (trust me, you will buy and buy and buy!) in the past they have offered UPS shipping.
ο The sale is in-person only; no online ordering. Take the trip and visit – Pittsburgh is GORGEOUS this time of year and it truly is a site to see!
ο The All-Clad employees that work at this event are SUPER nice and extremely helpful!
ο They have recently had a few shopping carts for people to use. If they are being used they do provide heavy boxes that you can either pull around or carry.
ο If this is your first time going, be prepared to be amazed!
ο There will easily be 150k-200k people that will flow through this event.
ο If you’re going and they have their 20 qrt stock pot.. leave it, it’s mine! I NEED it! *wink*
What else can I tell you?

Looks like the All-Clad factory seconds sale is this weekend Friday December 5th and Saturday December 6th. Hours 9-7 Friday and 9-4 Saturday. If you want something specific go Friday. If you want bargains stay till close Saturday. Clearance table went half price during the last hour.
Best Wishes to all who attend
Thanks Gail! Yes the bargains are always in the last hour. But I agree, if there is something your heart is set on go early!

Does anyone know exactly when the sale is in December? Thanks.
Hi Dawn,
It hasn’t been determined yet though if it follows the previous years I would think it would be first weekend in December. They typically tell me mid September so as soon as I know I will post it.

Ladies — for the next All Clad sale in December just wanted to let you know that we have a 2nd empire Victorian B & B that is about a 12-15 minute drive from the factory . A great place to relax after a day of shopping. See us at Montgomerymansion.net or email at Montgomerymansion@gmail.com
Shirl,
I’m sure you meant to include the Gentlemen as well, correct? Email me more information about your B&B at lori@thekitchenwhisperer.net

They have not had them during the last two sales. I have checked…
Monique,
I will be there around 11-noon tomorrow. I’ll look at the lids first. If they have them I’ll comment back.

I just arrived home from the Saturday sale. Here is what I bought. I want other readers to know that All-clad slashes prices on the second day of the sale, especially the last 2 hours just to get rid of inventory. The the large electric aluminum crock pot ($299 retail) was reduced to $99. (66% off/Friday the crock pot was $149) All lids were $14.99,normally $40 to $55 The clock/timer retailing for $40 was $19.99. Most cooking tools were $9.99 to 12.99. The ceramic double boiler insert was $29.99. Retail $99.99The 2qt brushed d-5 sauce pan was one of the best deals of the sale. I bought it for$49.99 $74% off. It retails for $195.00 at Williams Sonoma. The 13 inch stainless french skillet was $69.99 at the sale.(Retail $119.00-40% off) The best deal of the day was in the last hour, clearance table items went an additional 50% off. I bought a 8qt stainless tri-ply soup pot for $40.00(86% off). The 4 qt stainless steel sauté pan was down to $55(80% savings) and the Chef’s Stainless steel tri-ply pan sold for $35.00 (85% off-retail $235.
Hope this helps!
Sounds like you too hit the jackpot Gail! I saw that about the 7qrt crock pot. That’s insane! That’s my all time favorite piece they make!

I tried to stay on a budget, but being my first time at the sale I went a little crazy after seeing the wonderful deals. I’m going to add up retail prices of my purchases. I’m sure it will brow my mind away to see the retail value of 25-30 items I bought. I purchased a lot of Christmas presents for family in case the weather during the dates of the winter sale is bad. Glad I stayed to the very end. Good strategy for anyone buying All-Clad for the first time. I do recommend looking at all-clad cookware at any kitchen store and having a list ready before attending the factory sale.
Oh trust me I know! My first time there I spent over $1300 but retail was close to $6k!
AWESOME suggestion about looking in the stores for items you want. Then when you attend, have a pic of the item and the retail. You’ll be amazed by how much you really saved!
Best Kitchen Wishes!
My retail was over $3170.00. I was $979.19, almost a 70% savings. I am getting another list ready for the next sale.
That is AMAZING Gail!!! I should know the dates for the sale end of September early October.
Best Kitchen Wishes!
I should say the 12 inch fry pan lid
I would think that they had it, at least the stainless ones. I got 13 inch stainless.
Just leaving the sale. I got Krups 4065 12 cup coffee pot (39.99) 13 in Nonstick Fench Skillet (74.99) 13 in Stainless lid (14.99) 12″ Stainless Tongs (9.99) & 16×13 Nonstick Roaster w/rack (29.99) for $180.15 w/tax. Other things I noticed were the B3 Nonstick 10 PC set was $199 orig 599. They had the Emeril Electric Pressure Cooker for $49.99. The deal they were pushing was their new 7 layer Stainless pans. They had what they called the Stove Top Slow Cooker (looked like a Dutch oven) for $199. They had the large lasagna pans for $49.99 I believe. They had a wooden boxed set that had 12 in Round Non Stick Griddle, handle cover, cookbook & wooden recipe box for $49.99. There was a ‘Clearance’ table @ back, where they had 8 & 10 in Frying Pans, 3 Qt pots, and various Roasters & Large Stock Pots all in Stainless & Nonstick that they didn’t have boxes for that were anywhere from $19.99-59.99. Also saw a T-Fal ActiFry for $179.
Wow Christina you really killed it on the items you got! That’s an AWESOME deal for the roaster with rack! Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
Best Kitchen Wishes!
Can someone post if they have the 12 inch lid available. I will drive up there tomorrow if they do. I need two lids so if anyone is looking at this blog while standing in line I will greatly appreciate it!!!
I know it says that the sale is UP TO 70% off-do you find most items do have a significant discount or are they more in the 30% off range?
Thanks!
Hi Melissa!
Most I find are between 50-70%. Only a few that I’ve bought have ever been 40% but even at that it’s way lower than any retail.
Best Kitchen Wishes!
Me too Rickie!

I am so looking forward to the sale and I live in Pittsburgh. However, I haven’t seen confirmation of it anywhere. Is it a secret? Will it become publicly known soon? It is less than 2 weeks away . . .
Cindy,
No it’s not a secret. I just received my postcard in the mail from them and it is Friday, June 6th from 9-7 and Saturday, June 7th from 9-4.
