I don’t know about you but a 3-day weekend is JUST what I need! I am seriously running on empty and I’m about ready for some R&R. See I never take vacation. Ever. I’m just so busy with my day job and this that I often forget to take some time for me. Well I’ve informed Mr. Fantabulous that this upcoming 3-day Fourth of July holiday I’m doing NOTHING! I’m not putting pants on (well okay unless we go somewhere fun that is NOT Home Depot), I’m barely cooking (thank God I have 2 freezers) and hell, I may not even wear a bra! LOL Rebel I know! haha
I just need a break. I swear for most of us that are still working (can I say I’m jealous of the retired ones???) that stretch from January to April (or whenever Good Friday is) is the longest stretch ever. Unless you’re a teacher, bank person or have a government job you don’t get the other holidays off. We get New Year’s Day off and then not another until Good Friday. That’s tough for me… real tough!
Yeah I can take time off but I’m selfish I love the holidays off, plus honestly that’s TKW’s extreme time of the year for being so busy. So yeah I really never rest. However this upcoming holiday I am. So if you’re having a party, invite us. I need down time where I don’t have to think, look pretty (yes if you invite us over I will have pants on and look pretty.. lol) or worry about deadlines.
