Whoa, it’s already December 14th? Did we even have a summer? This year has been a trying one for Mr. Fantabulous and I between surgeries, the heart breaking loss of my sister in law, multiple instances of cancer in our family and even the loss of a job. However I’m still thankful and blessed. You see I’ve been so truly blessed to have so many amazing people in my life. By the grace of God I’ve been given another year to spend with my loved ones and doing the work that I love.
The holidays should be about love, faith and family yet we let them get the best of us. We let the holidays be hectic and full of stress. We worry about the perfect present to buy or making the perfect meal. Quit stressing and enjoy Christmas for what it is. It’s a time about love, family, faith and good will. Don’t fret over what you don’t have but be thankful in what you do have. Wear that smile on your face and show the world just how amazing you are.
I’ve been doing this Countdown to Christmas for a while now and honestly even though it’s one of my busiest times on here writing-wise I so look forward to it. Because I can’t be in all of your kitchens helping you out with stuff to make or bake, I can at least offer you up tips and tricks along with amazing recipes to help you out through the holidays. It’s my way to help make your holidays a bit more delicious and packed full of love!
