Get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try one of these delicious and easy recipes this week! This week I highly recommend making the Cheesy Spaghetti Squash Pizza and the Pressure Cooker Chicken Barbacoa Rice Bowls!
Wow, New Year’s Eve… This year, while I had a blessed year, I had a tough year. I’m thankful that it’s over to be honest. Physically, emotionally and mentally this year was one of my toughest. With the loss of my sister, the car accident, the extensive shoulder surgery, the unbelievable number of house spent on remodeling this house I. AM. DONE! But I survived and it didn’t beat me. It tried with everything it had to break me but with the love and support from Mr. Fantabulous, family and friends I pushed through.
Onward and upward as they say. Let’s 2018 be full of love, happiness, adventure, good fortune, health and peace.
This week was super busy with Christmas (fyi… Santa Fantabulous TOTALLY rocked it this year for me!), work and then prepping for a small NYE get together with the Fantabulous in-laws and a few of our best friends. I need a vacation from my vacation! LOL So how was your Christmas? Mine was so amazing. Mr. Fantabulous bought me the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Body with Canon Log – With Canon BG-E20 Battery Grip along with some other goodies. I honestly didn’t expect it though I did hint. I cannot wait to use it in the new year! Plus this will help me to start making videos as so many of you have requested them.
If you’re a blogger and take photos, this is DEFINITELY worth the investment!
Christmas day we spent it with the Fantabulous family. I’m so blessed to have them in my life and more importantly to be considered family. I miss that to be honest as, while I have 4 older brothers, I’m not close with them at all or their families. It’s sad really as I miss them and wish things were different but… perhaps in time it will change.
Instagram was pretty lively for me as I was in a creative mood!
There was this Spinach & Artichoke seafood pizza that I threw together using leftovers.
Then there was this video (click on the video) of my showing you the finished downstairs bar area. We did this ourselves – taking it from cinder block and cement floors to this!
And then I got this craving for a sweet no knead bread (FYI if you go to my Facebook page and find this image, you can grab the recipe early!)
And lastly this… This cork board dart board just about killed us physically. All of you folks on Pinterest, you crafters and so forth that said this was easy… I call BS! This thing SUCKED making, was hard as hell and took weeks to make! But it’s gorgeous and I’m glad we made it though never, never, NEVER again!
And with that folks I need to scoot to make the Deviled eggs, mashed potatoes and start dinner for tonight! Wishing you and yours a blessed New Year! Plus if you go out drinking tonight, drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Please – I had 7 knee surgeries as a result of some jerk drinking and driving and hitting me.
