Get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try one of these delicious and easy recipes this week! This week I highly recommend making the Chunky Portabello Veggie Burgers, the Chicken Roulade Stuffed with Mushroom Wilted Arugula and Shallots and the Crockpot Pork Loin with Apples and Onions!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! So the past 3 days have been like a blur and apparently Easter is next week. Um… is that even for real? I mean wasn’t it just Valentine’s day? I swear these days are just flying by. Last week I spent most of it recuperating from surgery while Mr. Fantabulous worked his butt off getting the house ready for the realtor open house yesterday. Me being stubborn, helped out as much as I could though I got sent back to bed every time I was caught doing something I shouldn’t have. LOL I’m just not a “bed rester” type of person. Fortunately we have a really, really good friend that lives a few miles away so he helped us out getting stuff done. He took care of all of the heavy stuff for us – switching over the tractor to moving furniture to allow us to concentrate on normal house stuff – waxing, etc.
So I have a question to those of you that have a piano. We have a baby grand that we leave the lid up – do you clean the inside/strings? I mean I’m sure it gets dusty so can you vacuum it or…?
Anyways, the house is on the market now. Once the landing page and video is uploaded if you guys want to see it, let me know. If you want to buy it, let me know! This house is true one of a kind and a steal to be honest. I mean over 8,000 sq ft, indoor pool, sauna, billiards room plus a separate 2-bedroom coach house on almost 5 acres… it’s truly a hidden gem! You have your very own spa retreat here without ever leaving the property! Private enough in the country but close enough to the city for shopping, shows and restaurants!
April ButcherBox Freebie!!!
Seriously, I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE their products. It’s worth the money as you’re buying top QUALITY meats and poultry! That chicken is just incredible and don’t get going on their ground beef! Literally some of THE BEST ground beef I’ve ever had! This month until 4/30 new customers who sign up will receive 2lbs of Pork Breakfast Sausage and 2 packs of Bacon for FREE! Butcherbox offer grass-fed and grass-finished beef, free range organic chicken, heritage breed pork, and wild-caught Alaskan sockeye salmon
So why go with ButcherBox? You guys know me, I’m fully transparent and open with you. I’ve preached all about the quality. Seriously, it is TOP NOTCH! But also I look at how the animals are raised, treated and more importantly, educating myself on their animal practices. Their products are grass-finished, free-range organic, heritage breed, antibiotic/hormone free. This is huge. No mystery chemicals to me and or drugs given them to “enhance” the product. Just look at the difference between 100% Grass-fed beef and conventional beef. I’m sorry but you don’t know where your beef comes from at the normal grocery stores. With Butcherbox I do know and I know how the animals are treated!
I love their products so much that I’m an Affiliate for them. What’s that mean? Simply put, when you click on my links/offers I get paid a small commission. BUT if you guys know me well enough you know that I will ONLY put my name, my brand, my reputation behind a product that I LOVE and personally use. So even if I wasn’t an affiliate, I would still order from them and still recommend them. It’s just damn good meat!
This week
While I’m still recuperating I’ll be holding phone interviews for my VA position! I’m excited (and kinda scared) to bring on help though truth be told, it’s a bit scary to let someone else ‘in’ my space. TKW is my baby, my creation and to let just someone else in it, to help run it is a bit hard. But one thing I’ve always taken pride in, in my corporate world is being a great manager and mentor. I want to give someone else the opportunity to grow, gain experience and share my knowledge. So this VA person will help me manage my social media – scheduling posts, managing my insights and also working on updating old posts (i.e, when I converted from one recipe plugin to another some recipes didn’t convert accurately). All content though will still be 100% me same with all recipes and responses. You guys deserve the real deal, the real Lori.
Anyway, I need to scoosh my butt in gear and finish up some edits on my last photo shoot. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd also figure out what we’re doing for Easter! What do you guys do? What are your Easter eats?
With that, have one fantabulously amazing week!
