These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week I highly recommend making the Slow Cooker Eye of Round, Roasted Grape Prosciutto Pizza Parma, and the Fish Tacos with Baja Cream Sauce!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! So is it finally warmer weather where you are? I’ll tell you guys, this whole adjusting what I post to match the weather/season is still tough for me.
For over a decade I was used to still posting more comfort food and cooler weather recipes because in Pittsburgh you still can have snow in April.
But, now that I live in Arizona and our temps have been in the 90’s for a few weeks, I’m wanting more cooler-weather foods.
New Recipes and Sections
I’ve been working hard on creating a ton of new recipes AND expanding the types of recipes. Obviously, I’ll start posting lots of grilling and bbq recipes but I want to start sharing more gluten-free and keto-friendly options. I mean I already do the latter for the most part in my recipes posted over the past year as I’ll give those substitutions in the recipe post. But in baking, specifically, it’s not a simple 1:1 swap.
A few of my neighbors either have Celiac disease and or gluten intolerances. Knowing this, it’s really been pushing me to learn more about it, the foods they can/cannot have, and making sure that when I have them over that I have delicious foods that they can eat.
I FINALLY perfected my gluten-free pan pizza recipe and yesterday made gluten-free banana chip muffins that they raved about. Having them as my taste testers has really helped me expand my knowledge and skillset.
Are you Pizza Adventurous?
Pizza for me is a way of life. Obviously, it makes me money but also it makes me happy. It’s my all-time FAVORITE food ever. And yes, when I say I eat pizza every single day, I really eat pizza every single day.
I created this Rattlesnake Western Burger Pizza over on my Pizza Instagram account. Did you know I have an entire IG account dedicated to pizza?
And did you also know that I teach classes locally on how to make the dough, stretch pizza, top it, and how to make it?! Yep…. I’ve been doing that for over 30 years.
TKW On YouTube
As I mention every Sunday, I have a YouTube channel. I’d LOVE and appreciate it if you subscribed there. I’m brand spanking new there and with the millions of TKW Family members out there, I really need to build up my subscription base there.
Not only am I creating videos for my newer recipes but I’m also going back and creating them for my most popular recipes.
Since I have 1000+ recipes posted, it’ll take me a little bit to get them all done but I’ll get there.
My goal is to do more longer-type 10-15 minute cooking videos where I talk to you while cooking – think TV show but candid.
Candid in the sense of – I scrape the whole bowl out (no, we don’t waste stuff in my house), I’ll get batter on my face, flour on my chest, and laugh at myself because I dropped/tripped/or just messed up what I was trying to say.
You’ll get me as me – true authentic Lori
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments first before they decide on making a recipe or not.
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave. Honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can give suggestions on what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or just tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto, or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become better on here and it gives you guys real feedback. The absolute most critical thing you can do for me is to leave a comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I, and everyone else that goes to my site, truly would appreciate it!
