These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week I highly recommend making the Ultimate Oven Fried BBQ Chicken, Sheet Pan Pancakes, and the Pulled Pork Pizza Puffs!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! How were your week and weekend? Ours was busy but good. We got more stuff put away and unpacked (yes we’re STILL unpacking), hung out with our friends a bit, and I got to puppy sit for a day!
Our neighbors have 3 adorable little dogs that have just captured my heart in the biggest way. I swear every time I see them I’m not sure who’s more excited, me or the pups. LOL, Yesterday they were out all day and asked me to let them out a few times.
We haven’t had a pet in such a long time I forgot how much I missed having that excitement you get from an animal when it sees you. So of course I’m on this huge kick of “we need a pet, or two”. Now I 100% agree with Mr. Fantabulous that we’re not ready for one as we’re still not settled in but my heartstrings are severely being tugged on right now.
Hopefully soon cause I have lots of loves to give and need to give some puppy/kitty/piggy loves. LOL
Welcome To The TKW Family John Boos!
Y’all I’m so over the moon excited to now be partnered with John Boos. I have been in LOVE with their boards and butcher blocks for decades. It’s all we ever use professionally and personally. They are the industry best! Well, I’ve teamed up with them to showcase not only their boards but also their kitchen islands and other products.
I’ve shared videos on how to properly clean and maintain your boards already like in THIS VIDEO. But I’ll also be sharing videos of my using the below GORGEOUS table not only for my prep work but also as home decor.
I just received this Grazzi Table and I literally FELL IN LOVE hard with it! It comes in a variety of colors and stains; mine is in the Walnut Stain.
It’s 60 in. long and 28 in. wide by approximately 36” high. It has a GORGEOUS end-grain Maple top that is massive and is 2.25 in. thick. 2 pull-out drawers that are perfect for housing kitchen tools, serving utensils, linens, etc… Plus, it has a super sturdy shelf that I can store either my appliances, pictures, trays, or whatever I’m using during my recipe development.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This not only a beast in the kitchen but it’s also a stunning piece of furniture! I cannot wait to start showcasing it in my food shoots and videos! As I always tell folks, INVEST IN QUALITY! Take care of your investments and they can last a lifetime and or generations! At a minimum once a month, apply their #mysteryoil and #boardcream and your board will be gorgeous for years!
TKW On YouTube
As I mention every Sunday, I have a YouTube channel. I’d LOVE and appreciate it if you subscribed there. I’m brand spanking new there and with the millions of TKW Family members out there, I really need to build up my subscription base there.
Not only am I creating videos for my newer recipes but I’m also going back and creating them for my most popular recipes.
Since I have 1000+ recipes posted, it’ll take me a little bit to get them all done but I’ll get there.
My goal is to do more longer-type 10-15 minute cooking videos where I talk to you while cooking – think TV show but candid.
Candid in the sense of – I scrape the whole bowl out (no, we don’t waste stuff in my house), I’ll get batter on my face, flour on my chest, and laugh at myself because I dropped/tripped/or just messed up what I was trying to say.
You’ll get me as me – true authentic Lori
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments first before they decide on making a recipe or not.
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave. Honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can give suggestions on what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or just tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto, or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become better on here and it gives you guys real feedback. The absolute most critical thing you can do for me is to leave a comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I, and everyone else that goes to my site, truly would appreciate it!
