1 jalapeno, minced (seeds removed) (can use 2 jalapenos keeping one for garnish)
1 green onion, chopped for garnish
2 strips crispy bacon, chopped for garnish
Instructions
In a sauce pot over medium heat, add the bacon and jalapeno. Sauté until the jalapenos start to soften and the bacon crisps up. Stir frequently (about 5-8 minutes.).
Next, add the beer and heavy cream then bring to a boil. Add in the 1 cup of Hoosier Hill Beer Cheese Mix and whisk to combine. (You can also whisk as you add it in).
Once it’s all combined and starts to thicken, remove from the heat and slowly whisk in the cheese in 1/2 cup measurements.
Transfer the beer cheese to a serving container, garnish with the green onion, the 2 strips of crispy bacon, and the optional additional jalapeno.
Serve immediately with chips, pretzels, chicken strips, nachos and so forth.
