Ingredients
6 Club-size hot dogs or 8 regular size
Two-14 ounce cans of Frank’s Sauerkraut well drained and divided
6–8 strips of cheese
1 pound regular cut bacon
Water-Soaked toothpicks
Cheese sauce
6–8 hearty hot dog buns
Instructions
Preheat the grill to 400°F. Split each hot dog lengthwise but not all the way through. Place 1 -1 1/2 pieces of cheese into the hotdog slit. Evenly divide 14 ounces of sauerkraut and stuff that into the slit.
Starting at one end of the hot dog, place a piece of bacon at the end, secure it with a toothpick, and wrap it around the hotdog. Grab a second piece of bacon, wrap, and add 1-2 more toothpicks to secure.* Do not wrap too tight! Cover the hotdogs with plastic wrap and place them in the fridge for an hour.
Grill 5-6 minutes per side until the bacon is cooked through, cheese is melted, & hot dog has plumped. Plate and remove the toothpicks.
To each bun add a bedding of sauerkraut, the cooked billionaire hot dog, and finish with a drizzle of cheese sauce
